While insurance covers many important aspects of your care, traditional couples therapy utilized to enhance and strengthen your relationships by assisting with relational concerns like ineffective communication, conflict resolution, etc. does not meet the criteria for medical necessity which is required by insurance to be a covered service. For these situations, we offer couples therapy as a private pay service to ensure your privacy and dedicated care.

Upon your request, I can provide you with a superbill for services typically covered by your insurance that you may submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. The amount you may be reimbursed depends on your insurance policy. I recommend that you call your insurance company to find out exactly what they are willing to reimburse.
